Prague, Czech Republic

Well I have landed in the Eastern Block! I arrived in Prague at 11 pm. The train took 6 hours from Munich, but the cost was only 65 Euro! You get what you pay for though.....you can tell as soon as you get into Czech Republic....they tell you in Munich that you do not have a transfer, but forget to tell you that they disconnect the train in half and take one half to prague and the other one to BFE....god only knows where. Then as soon as you get into the Czech Republic they stop and make you change transfer trains.....chinese fire drill style! Then you get on a train thats look and feels like it is from the 80's, and smells like a Bum;s sleeping bag ......It was a shady neighborhood that had a huge strip club behind it, which I can only imagine had quality talent working.....there was also a dog barking in the background...which sounded like an ally dog that has been living on the streets for 3 months and wants to eat your face...so overall it was a great trip!!! haha...its just what you imgine the other side of the Iron Curtain to look and feel like, so I really enjoyed it. I cant wait to get out into the city tomorrow and take a look at everything! I will have pictures tomorrrow!

Hitlers Eagle Nest

So I went to Hitlers Eagle Nest today. It took a while to get up there...and to get down. I decided to walk it instead or taking a tour.....I think my legs are angry at me now! The views were amazing! They bascially just turned the buidling into a reteraunt, which is a bit of a shame since there is so much history envolved in the building.a Take a look at the great pictures....oh and there was this Dutch guy that kept getting in my way when I was taking pictures...he would just step infront of me and try to take the same freaking picture....so I have him a little nudge when we were ontop of the moutian...he calmed down after that and got the hell out of my way! Tomorrow I should be attempting to getting on a train for Prague, but if that doesnt happen I might just head to Zurich instead. Germany/Austria has been really nice.....the people are nice and are happy to help you with translations....I have seen alot of Chinese people that live here and speak German...it really throws me sometimes. At the Hotel I had to help an Asian that was trying to speak broken englisgh to the reception desk....i dont think either person knew what the other was saying.....that guy was from Russia....wierd seeeing an asain speaking russian! So....im not really a backpack person, but its a must when traveling through Europe......but the people that put their bags in the front is really starting to annoy the hell out of me! Anyways I will post some picture from my last day in Paris at the bottom on the Eagles Nest pics......

The Sound of Music

So I am in Salzburg, Austria now(the town from the sounds of music). I took the train from Munich yesterday.......it was a nice ride through the country. I didnt make a reservation before I left yesterday, which almost turned out very badly. I got off the train in the Salzburg station and went strait to the Information desk where they informed me that EVERY hotel was sold out......so of coarse I told the lady......I" dont care where I need to go...I need a room tonight...find one!" Well she did....last one in the whole city...but she couldnt hold the room for me, so I was either to walk it...with the now 15 other people in the information center that now knew where they needed to go to get a room for the night. Now normally I would just walk (about 15 min).....but I figured spending the 6.00 Euro on a Taxi would be beneficial. Luckly I was the first one there, so I grabbed a room. I booked it for two night, so I knew I had a place to stay.....down side is...not the best part of town and no internet! I am actaully at another hotel using an macbook in the lobby. So I should have some pictures soon from Paris, Munich and now Austria. Having fun but......missing Central A/C....haha.

P.S. the keyboard on the apple is jacked up with german.....hope everything comes out right.

Back to the Louvre, Jim Morrison's Grave & Arc De Triomphe

So I had to go back to the lourve yesterday......i wouldnt pass up the chance to see all the egyptian artifacts and of coarse the Mona Lisa! Anyways....I made short metro ride strait into the louvre...no walking around, since I had been there the day before and see basically the whole neighborhood. I took my time through the egyptian artifacts, and just sped up for the mona lisa...I like art...but there is so much it would take days to stop and see it all. Some are freaking huge too! The size of a wall or small building! After that I went cemetary where Jim Morrison is buried. I just made an estimated guess since I kinda knew what part of town it was at...and BOOM I was exactly where I needed to be....and it felt good. It didnt last long though...that grave is a hard mother fucker to find! I spent about an hour walking around and almost gave up...but I said " NO I AM GUNNA FIND THE DEAD SON OF A BITCH!" Then some german kids started to follow me and I found it in no time....so here are some pictures of the day.I also made it to the arc de triomphe since i had some time in the day.....i got there when they were starting some ceremony,so I didnt stay long. I should be posting todays adventure soon...my flight leaves to early I have to leave the house at 4:30...which gives me 4.5 hours to sleep starting NOW!

ps...if you find any spelling errors...and im sure you will...suck it...i am tired and dont have time to check that shit...but whats new
